Please join us for a special LGBT Elders of Color Flashback Café in collaboration with The History Project.

This summer both organizations have experienced exciting new developments, LGBT Elders of Color have merged with the Multicultural AIDS Coalition and The History Project has been engaging in a renewed effort to improve the historical record on Black Queer Boston.

The evening will include fellowship, food, and storytelling. This multi-generational event invited community members to reflect and share favorite memories and lessons learned living in the city of Boston.

Featured storytellers include:

  • Shirley Royster
  • Sharon Pritchett
  • Mercedes Thompson
  • Donnell Graves
  • Serge Limontas
  • Sue Katz
  • Kelvin Powell
  • Greg-eugene

Hosted by Paul Glass, President of LGBT Elders of Color and Micha Broadnax, Community Curator Fellow for The History Project. This is a hybrid event. Please RSVP by selecting a ticket option for either in-person or virtual. Masks are required for in-person attendees and must be worn at all times except when eating or drinking. The virtual event will take place from 6PM to 8PM. Contact info@historyproject.org with any questions or technical challenges.
