Wikipedia Edit-a-thon: Queer Women of New England Throughout History

Join us in person at the Boston Public Library (Central -- Copley Square Branch) for a Wikipedia Edit-a-thon in honor of Women's History Month.

A follow-up to our 2021 virtual Wikipedia Edit-a-thon, this is the first in-person Edit-a-thon hosted by The History Project!

Join us to learn more about local queer historical figures and help us improve their digital visibility by editing and adding articles on Wikipedia featuring queer women throughout New England's History.

The event will be hosted at the Boston Public Library (Central Copley Square Branch) and will run from 11:30-3:30pm. Please feel free to drop in at any time to participate.

Two training sessions will be provided by THP volunteers on-site at 12pm and 2pm.

Reference materials and support from THP volunteers will be available throughout the day.

If you have a laptop to bring to work on, we encourage you to do so. Free Wifi is provided by the BPL on-site.
